The initiative begins by building relationships with the community. Together, artists and community partners begin to identify art installation locations and better understand the needs of the community through the perspective of its stakeholders.
→ Artists across Singapore and organisations from MacPherson are invited to apply to join the Arts @ MacPherson initiative.
→ Community partners and artists come together to share their thoughts on art in the neighbourhood, the needs of the beneficiaries, and potential ideas for co-creating the artwork.
→ Awareness about the initiative and its events are spread through neighbourhood pop-ups, social media and press releases.
