Stacy Huang & Harvest Care Centre

Artist

Stacy Huang identifies herself as an artist, educator and mediator who combines her various passions into her practice. Through immersive, site-specific installations, her work seeks to redefine what ‘interaction’ means when one engages with a work of art by integrating play as a valid form of artistic experience and a meaningful method of engagement.

Her works recognise the value in physical engagement and tactility, often adopting the language of play and interaction. Her practice also aims to push the boundaries of what ‘multi-sensory’ experiences can be by allowing other ‘non-sight’ senses guide her creative process.

Fish Jaafar & MacPherson CCC

Artist

Fish Jaafar is known for producing large scale works as well as conceptual accessibility and relevance to the local community. He believe narratives are at its most honest when expressed figuratively within a traditional 2D plane.

In his work, he attempts to reflect his sense of the times we are living in, and both how richly interesting they are and how difficult it is for most of us to navigate our uncertainty. Aside from murals, his studio works on 3D fabrications namely large theming works for Resorts World Sentosa Singapore, large scale installations, facade art and among others. Recently he delves into the opposite end with way smaller works such as painting tiny 3D printed miniature figurines.

Susanna Tan is a visual artist who makes works about thriving disappointments, regrets, loss and love. She is also keen in the nuances of portrait making and finds interest and intrigue in the problematic idea of remembrance through resemblance. She relates the human condition with plants as mediators, narrating dreaded mortal concepts into a body of works with an affection of love.
